GLO Introduces A New Tariff Plan That Lets You Call Any Network At 11k/sec

Metro Jarvis

Globacom Nigeria is undoubtedly the grand master of data plan in Nigeria but they are still lacking when it comes to signal strength and calling rates when compared to their counterparts. Customers all over the country have decried the poor network signals and non-flexible voice call rates by Glo but they (Glo) haven't done much to improve over the years.

However, it looks they are racing to meet up as they recently introduced a new 11k tariff plan for their customers. With this plan, you can now call any network in Nigeria at a flat rate of 11k/sec (excluding VAT).

The plan requires a daily acess fee of N7 (excluding VAT) which is charged from the first call of the day. I think is the perfect tariff for people who make a lot of calls.

To migrate to the 11k/sec Tariff Plan, Follow below steps.

1. Dial *311#
2. First migration in a month is free while subsequent ones within the same month will attract a fee of N100.

Rates on the 11k/sec Tariff Plan

1. Onnet and Offnet Calls are charged at 11k/sec (excluding VAT)
2. Daily Acess Fee costs N7 (Deducted from the first outgoing call of the day)
3. International calls are unaffected by the 11k/sec Tariff. They will be charged at the standard rate.
4. Onnet and Offnet SMS are charged at N4 (standard SMS rate)
5. International SMS is charged at N35/SMS (standard International SMS rate)

NOTE: The daily acess is only charged on the first outgoing call of the day. You wont be charged while recieving a call. Subsequent calls will then be charged at 11k/sec. To opt out, dial the code of the tariff plan you want.

VAT means VALUE ADDED TAX
